What is Uni_One and of what our manufacturing consists
Uni_One is a system of doors and windows in wood aluminum with great energy savings made with profiles in glued laminated timber (Glulam) in 6-meter planks and structural wood-glass bonding.
The internal part is developed with profiles in pine Glulam, lined with laminates of high quality or with reconstituted wood lining. The profiles of Uni_One are available in planks of Slavonian oak glulam attached with the innovative system created by Uniform called Techno-oak. Various types of cladding and finishing are available: oak, teak, wenge, black walnut and cherry.
The external part is made of aluminum attached to wood through clip. The aluminum screens are produced by corner welding or attachment through crimped aluminum blocks.
The glass is attached to the wood through a structural glue that blends the two materials finally and permanently. The glass attached to the wooden structure makes the window stable and without bending under pressure, allowing making large, well-lighted openings.
With the Uni_One system it is possible to make every type of opening, including doors and windows with overlapping, raising, sliding, or pivoting opening, front entry doors and out of square doors and windows. Arched windows can be made using non-veneered profiles.
Thermal insulation
Wood is our friend! The natural thermal insulation of the wood significantly reduces energy requirements for heating and cooling.
Acoustic insulation
Here it is again: wood! Unlike metal, a wooden structure does not have a hollow interior.. This gives ahigh acoustic insulation factor to rooms equipped with wooden doors and windows.
